Pre-Calculus

What is the point of pre-calculus?
What is the point of logarithms?
Why do I need to learn this crap?

I don't understand this crap. At least this far along, I don't need calculus for Chemistry, so why do I have to learn it? I can't wait until this year is over. Then I won't have to take a math class anymore.

Will I still be able to get into MSU with only three years of math instead of four?

Sorry if this was terribly random. I'm just worrying about the math test that I'm going to horribly fail tomorrow. :/
